Hypnobirthing
Hypnobirthing will help you to feel more confident and excited about your upcoming birth. I will provide you with information, knowledge and tools to help you feel empowered, in control and ultimately help you have a more positive birth experience. My course is a comprehensive antenatal training programme that is logical and simple to follow and just makes sense. It is centred upon building your confidence and releasing fear and preconceptions that you already have surrounding labour and birth. I will assist you in feeling calmer which will help you feel more comfortable during the birth of your baby.
Hypnobirthing is beneficial for the mother, baby and partner and can be used for every type of birth no matter what choices you make. The parents I work with report feeling far more empowered to make the right choices for themselves. Their partners also feel much more involved in the birth experience and know-how they can support their birthing partner. Hypnobirthing is proven to result in lower rates of drugs used, lower rates of medical interventions and more comfortable birth. The techniques and knowledge you will gain working with me are also transferable to all areas of your life.
During my course, you will learn all about what happens to your body during labour and birth and how you can best work with your body. This includes how the mind, the body, the nervous systems work and the different stages of labour. You will learn how to identify your fears surrounding labour and birth and how to release them. You will also learn relaxation and breathing techniques and tools to help you feel calm and in control.
Hypnobirthing cannot guarantee that you will have the perfect birth, however, you are more likely to have a positive experience no matter how your baby decides to arrive.
You can begin the course at any stage of pregnancy, allowing you to enjoy the benefits of what you gain from the course throughout your pregnancy as well as during the birth of your baby. However, it is never too late to start your hypnobirthing practice. My intensive course can teach you the basics even if you don’t have time to complete the full course.
Private courses can be undertaken in the South Wales area, from the comfort of your own home or online via Zoom. All available courses are listed below.

Travel expenses apply if over 15 miles away from my home in Swansea for in-person private hypnobirthing. You can choose between online or in-person at the booking screen for all private hypnobirthing courses.
